Welcome! I’m Sam Allen, and I’m passionate about helping businesses bridge the gap between technology and strategic goals. With over a decade of experience in IT and business management, I bring a unique blend of technical knowledge and business acumen to the table.
Although most of my professional experience is with web development, business is my real passion. After earning a BS in business management in 2011, I worked as a Product Manager for a well known SEO firm. I started creating websites to try my hand at starting a business in e-commerce.
Eventually, I accepted a role as a web developer for an international e-commerce company. I enjoyed the creative nature of being a web developer, so I continued in that role full-time for many more years with different companies, while taking occasional side jobs as a freelance web developer. But my passion for business never left.
In 2020, I decided to pursue an MBA. I was accepted in to the full-time MBA program at the University of Utah with a full scholarship and started the program in the fall of 2021. During the summer of 2022, I interned as a Senior Product Manager for Amazon Web Services (AWS) and was assigned to the Lambda product.
After my internship at AWS, I added a Masters of Business Analytics to my coursework and graduated with both degrees in December 2023. My experience in IT provided a deep understanding of the inner workings of technology, while my foray into the business world allowed me to witness firsthand the challenges businesses face in leveraging technology for growth. This combination sparked my passion for helping bridge this gap and becoming a trusted advisor in the process.
I decided to become a consultant so I could pursue my passion without the limitations of an employer. I bring a unique blend of experience, expertise, and a genuine passion for helping businesses achieve their goals. With my data-driven approach, collaborative spirit, and commitment to exceeding expectations, I can help you bridge the gap between technology and business strategy, ultimately propelling your business forward.
